Just to prove I really am still building, I decided to post a few items that did not warrant their own page or that I was just too lazy to post.
About this creation

Here we have a relatively new creation. I was going to post it for New Years, but I wanted to add some more of the gang (Xenomurphy, Kevin Walter, El Barto, Dave and Stacy Sterling, Stuart Delahay, etc) Anyhoo, never made their figs so here is what it ended up as, a New Year’s Party with some of the gang. From left to right we see; Dave “I’m Batman” Kaleta, Heath “Pass the Jameson’s” Flor, Mark “Mr.SHIP” Kelso, Matt “The man with 2 first names” David, Chris “Let me frisk you” Phipson, Mister “Kiss My Coccyx” Bones, Lee “Bend over and say AH” Jones, Tyler “No I don’t play basketball” Halliwell, Hans “Pass that spliff” Dendauw, Master Shifu “Bacon Boy” Leo J, Leda “Spooktacular” Katt, and Dennis “I’m not grumpy, you are just a jerk” Price. Behind them, above the fireplace and below the thing that is supposed to be a moose head, is a brick that says “Journey of the Fellowship 2011” that represents the collaborative build at Brickworld. I found some shots of my part of that build before it was shipped to Chicago, those are below.

This next picture is one of the few decent ones I found of my contribution to the Brickworld Journey of the Fellowship display. Osgilioth, before UPS used the box I shipped it in as a football. I was surprised I still had these as they were in a folder I thought I had purged.

This is a shot of the taller ruins that are not visible in the above photo. Why I thought a build like this would survive a trip from California to Chicago is beyond me. I am sure Dave K and Dennis still have nightmares about trying to put it back together…..sorry guys!!

Here is another relatively new build. This Skeleton Arms Hotel (Based off the Grand Emporium) will be in downtown Darksylvania if I ever get around to actually laying out the city. I am not overly chuffed about this and it will do doubt be renovated in the future.

Roof shot, who are those masked folks up there?

Finally, we have a couple shots that I had posted in another collection, but that posting has since been deleted, so here they are again. The first two are of a small kitchen I built back in 2009. There is good ol Chef Booner cooking up some seafood gumbo. The last picture is a small little MOC I built in 2009 for my wife depicting our wedding, even though it did not look like that at all.

Dem Notes: Just a few more odds and ends to show you all. What’s that? Something new? Probably not until after Bricks By The Bay, I will do a recap of those sordid events along with my fellow reporter and hoodlum in arms, Hans Dendauw. Until then, behave, be good and most of all, do not forget to shower……..please.

That kitchen is awesome! Its such a shame Osgiliath didn't survive, its a fantastic build, really detailed and full of great little broken bits and has the sense of the scene really well. I'm really looking forward to your BBTB post. I can't wait to see the Delinquents on display. |

Xeno, I think it was more my lack of packing skills than UPS.

I am relieved to know that shipping from Germany to California is much safer than from California to Chicago. -- That hotel is quite interesting. Black and red, that's rad. Looking forward to see more of it. |

Ohhh, so THAT'S what Osgiliath was supposed to look like. I coulda sworn you just dumped a bunch of random bricks in a box and shipped it to me. That's what it looked like when I opened it after all. Can't wait for the BBTB recap! Oh... and what's a "shower?" Is there gold involved? ~ Chris. |

I think Dennis and Dave were just glad that they were rebuilding a ruin, so tossing the extra bricks on top didn't actually ruin the creation. It's nice to see what it actually looks like though. Great builds here, Dan! |

Quoting Dave Kaleta
So THAT'S what it was supposed to look like! We didn't even come close...
That is because my packing skills are about at the level of a 5 year old.....I owe you both a drink or two for dealing with that mess! |
