Batmobile (Tumbler) v.2 [Modified]
This is my version of the Tumbler. Heavily armed, lightweight, and ready to take on just about anything, this is the vehicle you've all been waiting for.
About this creation

What is going on, guys?

So I know I haven't really posted anything in a long while, but a couple days ago I saw this, and I thought 'That's an awesome design; wouldn't it be great if I made something like this, and improved it so that it would be able to accommodate a minifig?'

So I did. I changed the design around a bit; I made it one stud longer, and one stud wider. Wider so that it would:
1) Hold the minifig dude better, and
2) Be sturdier, since when the central frame was only one stud wide, the car kind of bent sideways in the middle, and it was actually quite weak.

So now, though the frame itself is rock solid, the pieces on the side that form the bulk of the car's look and design, and fill out everything giving it that characteristic look are not very sturdy, and in fact fall apart quite easily, without putting very much pressure on them. However, the end result is actually really worth it, and I think it came out looking great, so I'm quite happy.

What do you all think?

Btw, do you think that this picture would be better as the main pic?

Just some forced perspective to put everything in the right perspective. Yeah, that's right. You're ride's got NOTHING on mine, you hear?

Also, is this not the coolest pic ever?

Anyway, the next set of pictures of the big, black.... tank [who remembers that part? =D] show everything in a nice, relaxing blue background. So kick back and enjoy yourselves, people.

[Note]: Scroll down to see some awesome outdoor pics!

This is guy has the right to be cocky. He gets to drive a monster like this!

LOVE these views:

Just a little friendly view of the underside:

There's also a visible engine! HE[double hockey sticks] yeah!

Cockpit roof totally opens. Not exactly like in the movie, but this is small-scale LEGO building, what do you expect?

Just to show you the scale, you know? In case you were wondering.

And finally, ladies and gentlemen, the moment you have all been waiting for: Whole bunches of outdoor goodness!

Well? Let me know what you guys think. :D

Look, I try to be as active as I can, but I just don't have that much time... anyway, I'll try posting a comment here and there every once in a while. (Or more if I have time...)

Ah yes.... Daddy always said, "It's not what you buy or sell, it's what you profit from it." In this case I guess I bought an overly priced military tank, so I can make Gotham a better place. Oh and not to mention a God-knows-how-much-it-costs Batwing.... Yes, he must be very proud.

Quoting Bruce Wayne Yes, I do believe Lucius mentioned something like that.... Sadly I don't have the Tumbler anymore, the superbaddude Bane has three with rocket launchers, and it seems I only have a Batwing, but that seems too small compared to Bane's stuff..... :D I am very pleased with the way people tend to recreate my life... :D
I wouldn't worry about it, Master Bruce. If your father were here, I'm sure he would be very proud of you.

Quoting Bruce Wayne Very nice..... Only, are you sure Lucius made it that small for me in the movie? I checked the dimensions, and if a LEGO dude is aprox. 6 feet high, it'd have to be about Brent Waller's Tumbler size.... I love your's though!!! Very nice edition considering the other dude's couldn't fit me inside it.... :D
Well Excuse me, Mr. Bruce, but I thought you had asked for the deluxe, modified version?

Okay thanks. I'd like instructions of yours though rather than the original because (Good as it was) it didn't fit a minifig and I'd like to be able to do that so yours is perfect. Thanks again, --Blast--

I don't know, guys. Right now I'm making a diorama (32x32) for it, so I don't want to take it apart just yet. Maybe once I finish that I'll explode it so that you guys can get a good look at it. After all, it IS a modified version of Zeto Vince's design, which I linked to in the very beginning. But we'll see.

Quoting Zeto Vince Yeah man! That's why i like to post instructions! To see other talented fellows to get their hands on my designs and see what they can turn them into! And you my friend made something special! I would love to arrange with you a photoshooting with both of them since we are "neighbours"!
Kanena problhma! Just... where would we do it? The most ideal would be to go to either your house or my house, where we could use a lightbox. But I live in Kapandriti, and you live... hold on, checking your page... Lavrio, right. So how would we arrange it, do you think?
