The Zetrov airship is the UCPR's latest addition to the airfoce. Since the older and smaller Nikita class airships proved to be not effective enough, the board decided to build better and bigger airships. The task was given to the state company Zetrov.
About this creation
The Zetrov-C (carrier) was supposed to be a larger version of the Nikita, however thanks to the introduction of the worlds first VTOL fighter, the UCPR Novikov, it would be possible to transport these via air, without the need of a heavy and large landingstrip. And since these VTOLs use their rotors to gain trust it would even be possible to generate some lift for the airship during transport.
The ships weaponary consists of 38 smaller anti aircraft guns, 9 twin anti air turrets and a larger bomb bay that can hold around 16 bombs. The ship is able to carry around 14 Novikov fighter-bombers. However some generals prefer to modify these ships to their own needs, and use them as their flagship. These airships are always escorted by groups of Nikita's and Novikov's in order to secure minimal damage.
The other version of the airship is the Zetrov-B (battleship). These airships are build to defend their less armed cousins against aircraft, and even other airships. They have 2 extra engines, and a larger propellor at the rear. Futhermore they carry 50 smaller anti aircraft guns, 11 twin turrets, and 8 larger guns mounted in the front of the ship.
YOur moc reminds me of the Kirov Airship from the Red Alert 2.
The way you made the hull is very good, aerodynamic and detailed.

Where do you even start on a build like this, I'll tell you where, by tipping the hat and rating 5/5, that's where. Absolutely fantastic, love the concept, your skills are obvious, and the presentation is killer. Very nice, looking forward to more! Chris
I was contemplating making an airship next, but you have done everything I had thought to do and more with this build. Excellent work. Your "Russian" subtitles are funny. As one who actually knows Russian, I had a hard time reading them at first until I realized that you were just using letters that look similar to the English substitutes. If you ever need actual Russian subtitles, just send me a message and I will translate them for you.
Looks pretty nice. Not sure what those little dark-grey round bits are, though. Also: I can't read that text on the last pic. It doesn't look like russian; some of those letters I'm pretty sure aren't in the cyrillic alphabet, so; ukrainian, maybe?
