Sorry it took me so long to get this up. School, yuk. Anyway, as promised, here is the great CALLAN LORD OF FIRE!!!!!!!!.... based off of deadpool from X-men. I hope you guys like him as much as I do! To the MOC! or the bio, whichever you go to first :P

Story: Callan I was able to find out about his past, so much infact he could remember everything. With his newfound confidence and memory, he organized the House of Fire, an organization that dealed with training toa of fire, with Callan I at the head as High Lord of Fire. The organization thrived, and many joined. This organization lasted for many years, even until the death of the great Callan I. However, to rule in his stead as High Lord of Fire was Callan II, his son. Unlike his powerful father, the organization began to crumble. Undercover Makuta joined, and ultimately destroyed the organization. Utterly depressed and defeated, Callan II roamed the shperus magna until he found ghetti nui. There, he joined the notorious gang Dark Flame, and was outfitted with twin swords and an MR-16 Rifle, as well as being tattoed with black markings. Eventually, he saw the erros of the gang, and deserted the gang. He now works as a mercenary gun-for-hire, working for the highest bidder, as well as helping the toa whenever he can.

And there you have it!! Here is the picture of deadpool for comparison. Honestly, I wish I could have done better on the colors and where they went. Another thing I wish I would have done was make it more Callan-ish. Well, everyone doesn't have a mata-red ruru, now do we!! Oh, it looked dark blue in the pic :D well, his character was made for shape and style, whereas I think your character needed more color accuracy due to the fact that he's shaped like a regular humanoid. Deadpool (at least what I can glean from your pic, I'm not familiar with him) has much dark blue on him (shoulders, boots) and I don't see any of his other colors like these reflected in the moc. I feel that in a few minutes you could have whipped up a utility belt like he has, stuff like that with a little extra effort, but he is much more easily recognizeable as callan than deadpool. I'm sorry, I wanted you to do well, but I feel you didn't capture the category as well as I expected you to.
Dark blue!?! where's the dark blue? I think you mean the glint coming off of his BLACK leather boots. yeah your right, I wish I did make him a little more like deadpool. However, Callan didn't follow the color scheme for Boba either, since he had to incorporate me into there somehow, so he changed the color scheme. I guess that's kinda what I did as well. But whatever. Glad you like it for the most part!! |
