Icarus, a hero of Greek mythology. Imprisoned with his father Daedalus in the labyrinth of the Minotaur they escape through the wings fabrication using beeswax and chicken feathers. Despite recommendations from his father, Icarus too close to the sun that melts the wax. Its wings are disintegrating, and he crashed into the sea which now bears his name.
A very artistic effect. The wings are clever and I like the trailing feathers on the fall. At first it looked like Icarus was flying back to the ground. Maybe by reversing the arc of the wings on the fall it would look like they are collapsing as well as falling apart. Just some of my thoughts. Great forced perspective creation!
