Holden Commodore SS - Highway Patrol (Queensland, Australia)
Here is my entry for 'marcel urbanija's first official contest:6-wide police cars'. When trying to decide what car to build, I had to go red to suit my available bricks and immediately thought of our local highway patrol vehicles.
About this creation
UPDATES: New rear windscreen added!

6.0 litre V8 power!

I had to take a bit of liberty with the checkered pattern due to the scale and lack of 1x1 plates.

Would you believe the front grill is held in place entirely by friction between the two fog-lights?!

Bonnet open....nothing else to see here.

Interior - the seats are from the Sonic Boom set 5892.

(13/15-->creativity:4/5,style:5/5,smoothing:4/5) Althrough, you aren't the winner, your commodore is you best vehicle creation yet to come from you! Ah yes, the vehicle also known as the Pontiac G8 when it was available in the US. Sad that they discontinued it, but at least it's still used for law enforcement over here. Very nice.

Quoting Marcus Paul Fantastic! Awesome shaping, awesome color design, the front is really, really good, and that opening hood is absolutely great - something I haven't managed yet. I like it a lot!
The hinges are there purely to get a one-stud high angle on the bonnet piece. It is just a bonus that it opens! :)
