Korriban, shortly after the events in The Legend of Harash Soru 23.
Darth Levid: "Hurry Kayzla! Soru is coming!"
Darth Kayzla: "Levid, my love wouldn't it be better if..."
Darth Levid: "The lift's here, hurry!"
From the shadows, Nayam Burl watches the pair as they make their escape. She could not fight them, but she could work out where they were hiding.
Levid hit the button and the lift began its decent into the catacombs under the Temple.
Darth Kayzla: "We should make a stand my love! We are Sith, we do not run!"
Darth Levid: "Soru is strong! We must live!"
Darth Kayzla: "What of the others?"
Darth Levid: "Dead."
The lift came to a stop and Levid hurried out.
Darth Levid: "Come on! We need to..."
The Sith stopped, realising his companion was not following.
Darth Levid: "What are you doing Kayzla?"
Darth Kayzla: "We are Sith, we do not run. If you truly love me, you will come back to face Soru."
A slight tear stung Kayzla's eye as Levid turned silently and disappeared into the catacombs. She closed her eyes and jabbed the 'up' button.
Back in the Temple Nay examined the lift carefully. She was about to call in Levid's location when suddenly the lift made a gentle 'bing' sound.
The doors slid open to reveal Darth Kayzla. The two stood silently for a moment before Kayzla grinned manically.
Darth Kayzla: "Nayam Burl, pregnant as well."
Nayam Burl: "Get back Kayzla!"
Kayzla activated her lightsaber.
Darth Kayzla: "I may not be able to kill your husband. But I can kill you and any hope of him having children!"
With a loud roar, Kayzla charged the Jedi.
Nay quickly parried Kayzla's attack, the hump of her pregnancy making her moves difficult.
The two women landed apart glaring at each other.
Darth Kayzla: "By defeating you I will buy back Levid's love!"
Nayam Burl: "Love cannot be bought Kayzla! You..."
Nay suddenly frowned and let out a gasp of pain. She looked up in horror as she realised that her baby was on its way.
Kayzla cackled.
Darth Kayzla: "Oh what perfect timing!"
Nayam Burl: "Stay away!"
Kayzla cackled again as she blasted Nay with Force lightning, the Jedi barely blocking the surge of energy.
Nay cried out again as another contraction gripped her body.
Only just did she manage to block Kayzla's sudden flurry of attacks.
However, the pain had severely weakened Nay and Kayzla was quick to use this to her advantage. With a flick of her blade she quickly disarmed Nay.
Darth Kayzla: "And so the Soru line dies today!"
Kayzla jumped into the air and angled her blade for Nay's stomach and the child within.
However, before she reached the Jedi she suddenly gasped in pain. She looked down to see Nay's lightsaber protruding from her onwn stomach.
Kayzla crumpled in the air and fell to the floor.
Nayam Burl: "Arrogance, blinds you. And no one threatens my child!"
Suddenly Hara flew round the corner, his lightsaber blazing.
Harash Soru: "Nay! I'm here!"
Nayam Burl: "You're a bit late Honey."
Hara frowned as she cried out again, then realisation dawned on his face and he hurried over to his wife.
Harash Soru: "The baby!"
Nayam Burl: "Really? I hadn't noticed."
Hara took his wife's hand.
Harash Soru: "It's ok, I've got you now."
Nay looked into her husbands eyes.
Nayam Burl: "No Hara, you need to go and stop Levid."
Harash Soru: "But..."
Nayam Burl: "Go! I will be fine. The others are already coming. Stop Levid and make the Galaxy a safer place for our child!"
Harash Soru: "I love you."
Nayam Burl: "I love you to. Now go!"
Grand Master Harash Soru stepped into the lift and hit the button that was to take him to his final duel with Levid. Over his shoulder a calm voice spoke to him
Michael Kringe: "This is the moment the Force has brought you to Harash Soru. Only you can face this, but you will not face it alone. Everyone is with you Hara, the Force is with you. Now go. The final chapter is about to begin."
