Sox & Martin Dodge D700 King Ramp Truck

This truck was built for the Classic Race Teams group, which is a group that is attempting to build as many classic race teams as possible. My Truck is part of the Sox and Martin drag race team, and is my second total creation for this group. It is 65 studs long, and with the trailer: 112 studs, which comes out to 37 inches (3 ft. 1in.). The trucks bed is 36 studs long, but the rear of the car can hang over the edge, so it could easily hold something 40 studs long. The trailer's bed can is 31 studs long, but the front and rear can over hang, so a 40 stud long car would be no problem. The cars that go on the truck or trailer can be up to 16 studs wide. My truck has an engine, opening doors, and functional winch. Take a look at it and tell me what you think!

Here is a couple of pics with the door ope, you can see the interior as well. There is a radio, seats with an adjustable lever on the side, steering wheel, and gauges.














Here are some pics of the engine, which can easily come out.







This is the functional winch: you just pull it out and then push the yellow button and it will real back in.









Here you can see the tail lights and the hitch for the trailer.

Such a lovely model : ) The accuracy is excellent, and you've added some great working features too. One of the nicest looking creations I've seen this year - 10/10, it's perfect : ) Now we'll have to see if anyone wants to build the race cars!

You're genius! This is a perfect addition to the classic race team group! The overal shaping is fantastic! You've done the color scheme excellent! The side mirrors are a good finishing touch! The interior is great, and I like the engine too! The winch is great, just like the opening door and hood! The trailer looks very good! Do you have plans for building a car to fit with it? I'd really like to see that from you! 5/5 :-)

Wow Austin this is excellent. You must have had fun building this one. I really like the working functions and it looks superb. I can’t wait to see it loaded with cars. Great job yet again. This group just gets better and better.

Excellent work yet again Austin! Will you ever disappoint? I doubt it ;-) Looks very accurate to the real truck and those colours make it a lot more interesting that if it was just one colour. Really glad you added the trailor. Can't wait to see it with a car on! Which one are you going to build? Or are you going to build two?
