"The Iron Man" Repulsor Cannon
About this creation
Going back to my Marvel inspired weapons, I present "The Iron Man" Repulsor Cannon. It fires the same type of blast as his armor does. It's powered by a modified mini arc reactor. There's a scope mounted on the top. I went with Iron Man's color scheme, and I think the dark red on gold looks great. I started with the foregrip, which was an odd place to start for me. Usually I begin with an emitter, but I had the grip design in my head. I wanted to see if it looked as good as I thought. I had a plain white radar dish as the emitter, but it looked... well... too plain. So I went with a wheel rim instead. The weapon measures about 22" long.

Well I'm not an artist and I don't have an original idea in my head. So I am going to try and copy your Cannon. I love it. A couple of side pictures showing the bricks outlined would be helpful. (hint-hint) Maybe I should start with "The Cyclops" Optic Rifle. I feel once I get a few of them under my belt and feel comfortable with the software and the basic design components of a digital weapon I can then come up with my own designs. Don't hold your breath waiting for me to show my stuff, this may take me a while. I'm looking forward to your next weapon. I'm sure it is going to be out of this world.

Quoting Gregory Andrews Your guns are amazing! I have two questions, which you don't have to answer. 1. How long does it take you to digitally build something like this? 2. Why don't you give your files away? I for one would love to build this. You do great work.
Thanks for commenting. I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can. 1.Original weapons like this can usually be done in a couple days, working on them for about 3-4 hours a day. It all depends on how much detail I put into them, and how well the ideas flow. The Pulse Rifle took about a month because I really focused on details. 2.I've posted files for a couple models, like my gun components and protoform, for people that like my style. I encourage my fellow builders to come up with your own ideas. Be original. You are welcome to use the pics of my models for inspiration. But if you really want to build one of my models, the designs aren't that complicated. I strive for simplicity and realism.
