Diocletian is a famous figure across all of the Matoran Empire, not only for his orchestral recreation of the Destiny War, but also for countless Weavic anthems, psalmodies and operas. His skill with stringed instruments is unsurpassed, and the sheer speed at which he can play has led more than a few to believe his mask of speed isn't powerless. Whether it is or not, he doesn't reveal the answer, preferring to let his admirers and critics confuse themselves over the matter.
He is based in Atero, the cultural hub of the Empire, hailing originally from Vulcanus with a purely fire-elemental background. His father was one of the main contributors to the rebuilding of the arena, which after it was destroyed by the Skrall and the Glatorian Code abandoned, was left in ruin. It is now one of the largest buildings in the Empire, seat of gladiatorial fights, kohlii and kanoka matches and, of course, operas.
Oh, and he has an Aku Dog called Lupus.
As with the last two Chibi Nui, Diocletian is composed entirely of parts from the last six chibi self-MOCs, and a new self-MOC wave has now begun. He does not use 100% of the parts from all six chibis, but 100% of his parts come from the chibis. I had no real idea of what I was building until I was about halfway through, but then everything fell into place - the large gut, poofy pants look immediately reminded me of a baroque composer, which is what you see here. XD
EDIT: To clear up some confusion, Diocletian was originally called Aeneas and I forgot to change that in the introduction. When I create a MOCpage I copy the description, picture codes and all, into Word. The Introduction doesn't get copied. Also, the name is not so much due to the history of Diocletian himself, but the role of Diocletian in the operas of Henry Purcell.

Awesome MOC! I feel quite the same way as Cody does, the originality of the character is amazing in itself, even without the epic build to back it up. Great job on your third Chibi Nui!
What an awesome Bionicle, now I'm not an expert but this is pretty cool! I love the colours and design!
Could you please give some Feedback on this- http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/309194 its just its my first try at it and I'd like some C&C.
Funny coincidence. Simply, because this week I'm taking part in the traditional Finnish elder dance - which is done every year in Finnish high schools and is a good opportunity for a rare experience - which, of course, includes a dance from the baroque age =) There's many other dances too from various times, but that's not the point. =p Yeah, love this work, he really looks like an orchestral player and the unusual take to Bionicle universes more cultural side is quite lovely =] Great theme song choice too ^_^
