The Imperial Hunter should not be confused with its similarly named TIE counter part. The Hunter project was intended to create a fighter/dropship combination specifically to combat cruisers. But in order to survive a frontal assualt a solution had to be made. So, a fighter was designed to have a minimal profile. The sleek shielding on the sides was also made to help deflect energy from the flak. Advanced targeting systems were attached above the cockpit. The Hunter has a hyperdrive, mounted on the back. Pilots and troops enter the Hunter through the front, classic TIE fighter style. Three of these Hunters were present on the Death Star and were destroyed in the resulting blast. They continued to serve throughout the wars. My partner is George Marshall. Contest link:http://mocpages.com/group.php/19271
