"Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples woke him, saying,'Lord, save us!' We're going to drown!'
He replied,'You of little faith, why are you so afraid?' Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm."

I like the base, and you've got some nice parts usage in this. Particularly like the way you approached the surface of the water. |

I decided to comment after all, don't get me wrong, I like your building style, let's just say I'm not a fan of the bible.
Anyway, the boat looks very good, considering it consists out of so few parts it has a very fluent shape, great job
Thanks! I was inspired by the curve of that sinking ship picture you had on brickshelf. |

Thanks you for the wonderful comments guys! Just to clear things up, I know there are supposed to be more disciples, but I couldn't do that because the boat isn't big enough and I didn't have any more tube pieces to make it bigger. Next time I use this technique I will get some more tubes first. Oh, and some of you have said it doesn't really look like Jesus is calming the storm. Well, you can't see it very well but The disciple has a scared expression on his face.

Great design of the boat. I believe that you were inspired by the Egyptian reed boats.
Correct! I was going to do some egyptian moc from the old testament, but I already made one in that category. |

Cool! I like the base. The jesus fig is pretty neat and I like the boat. That design is awesome! The way you balanced the figs in it and everything is really commendable. Well done! |

Looks awesome. I'm not sure that your MOC lines up with the story (looks more like the disciples being sent out to get the fish) however, it is superbly done from the water to the boat! Keep up the good work! -Ultra |

Very cool, interesting boat design I think this would be a bit of a stronger build with more (reeds). The water looks great I really like this technique and I like the fact that your surrounding box has a nice flair as well. |

I like the build and the boat technique is interesting, but the MOC isn't very accurate as there were multiple disciples in the boat with him. |

They came from the vikings ship that was released a few years ago. I'm not sure what the name of the piece is, though. |

Neat boat technique! And I see you used the Norrington face for Jesus too! It works pretty well doesn't it!?
Yeah, it does. I was originally going to use the same body as you, but I changed it because then the whole moc looked too similar to yours. |
