Thrid Impact looms as the fate of Humanity. This is what the Angels, Children of Adam, seek.
About this creation
INTRODUCTION:
So, with the Eva Units all but completed, I thought to try my hand at some of the angels. So seen here are my attempts at some of the Angels.
Sachiel, the Third Angel
Sachiel is the first angel to attack in the first episode. Sachiel is amphibious and can fire a sort of energy lance from his palm.
Sachiel, the Third Angel
After the Military detonates a N2 mine under Sachiel, a second, smaller head, giving Sachiel the ability to create cross shaped explosions. Sachiel attempts to destroy unit 01 by self-destructing, and is destroyed.
Shamshel, the Fourth Angel
An Angel that is somewhat a cross between an Eel and a Beetle. Shamshel's main offensive power are the short stubby arms that emit energy tenticles. This Angel is defeated by Unit 01, when 01 stabs the core.
Ramiel, the Fifth Angel
Ramiel is a hollow, translucent octohedren. Ramiel's primary offensive power is a high intensity energy Beam. Ramiel is defeated by Unit 01 using a sniper rifle, using all the energy in Japan.
CREATOR'S NOTES:
Well, these were harder to design than the Evas. Any suggestions are encouraged and will be appreciated.

well, as of yet I'd say these Evangelion things are perhaps the most bizzare Mechs I've ever seen in my life. of course, considering that I know almost nothing about Mechs, that probably doesn't mean much. seeing as I have no clue what this series even is, I can't say how accurate these are. honestly they're kinda ugly. however, some of the techniques I'm seeing in this are amazing. great job on this, Rabid. :)
You see, the Angels aren't mecha. Technically, they're humans who have rejected the human form. The Evas are bio-mecha, in the loosest sense of the word, based on the Angels. |

The only thing that I think that could be improved is the shoulder shell as it look a bit flat here and very triangular in the anime. But don't worry, It's very nice as it is. Shamshel is weird (not your fault, the whole thing is really weird anyways...) but you nailed it. About Ramiel, I'd remove the mid section and make it dark blue (reference pic: http://file.tidalweb.blog.shinobi.jp/IWFP-RAMIEL2.jpg), maybe with some white in the edges to emphasize the polish glass look. I expect anxiously more to come!
I still have a little work on Ramiel. The color isn't right, and I'm not happy with the translucent look yet. |

Sachiel is my favorite of the three. The chest and arms are my favorite parts. And to answer your question chunk, osca was the red head, and to be honest I thought she was a better character than rey, who was just the ultimate emo. |

Great job on these rabbid! You really captured the look of Sachiel, he was one of the only cool lookin Angels in my opinion. You definitely captured the look of Shamshel and Ramiel too, but they were just so odd and boring its hard to comment on them. Now you gota do some fight seens with your Angels and your Evangelions!
Thanks! My next step is fight compiliations, so don't worry. And yeah, Rei was very supportive, but remember, it was Unit 01 that killed the majority of the angels. |
