Question, how do you play it that some monsters are level one and or two/three? Is that the damage rate at which they hurt you or what?
This is in the original rules. They have different strengths and cause you that amount of damage when they hit you.
I just added that they can receive that amount of damage as well, before they die.

It is quite large :) The covered fountain is a very nice touch and I'm surprised I haven't seen more architectural things like that. I'm with you on just buying the extra sets for pieces. Seems cheaper for the common jumper colors and lets Lego know that folks are interested in Heroica so they'll make more! I wish they had sets with more then grey and green color variations though. Tan especially would be nice. |

Hmmm I guess you are right. The last couple of Heroica games I played where solo or co-op, so in this games it is interesting to make a detour for the treasure chests. If you are indeed racing to the finish to beat the boss monster and the other players then it's understandable you won't stop for chests. |

Quoting Yayo .
One Question comes to mind, is the ability of the thief not a bit "underpowered" when al enemies give you gold when you defeat them? Also, isn't it to easy for the heroes to buy ALL the weapons when so much gold is available?
It didn't seem to make much difference. We found that you don't often use the powers anyway (which is also something that could do with changing).
The changes involved increasing the prices slightly of weapons, and if you die you lose all your gold.
At least this gives you the chance to buy weapons. I found while playing a game with normal rules you hardly get any money, as it's not worth wasting time to stop and explore the chests.

And you are right, buying an additional set is WAY cheaper then buying a lot of parts. Still buying loose parts is a great way to get a lot of rats and Giant Crabs! Still love them ;)

Technically it's 2 and a bit Fortaans. I'd tried to expand the set when I realised it would be easier and cheaper to just buy another one than buying more parts on bricklink!
Glad you guys like it. I hope to add Waldurk forest and another Draida bay at some point. To give players an option of leaving Draida via the caves or the forest. |
