FDNY Engine 201 "201 Can Do"
This my new FDNY Engine and the last built for a while because i have not enough parts to build a new rig. But it will go on soon. It's Engine 201 a 2003 Seagrave Engine 1000/500. It's based together with Ladder 114 and Batallion 40 in Brooklyn, 5113 Fourth Avenue. I hope you like it. Comments welcome :)
About this creation

This is the new designed front. I used a similar but not indentical snot technique like James Kontoules on his new Marauder II. So recognition to James because it was his main idea. :)

Completely new cab design.

Note the Seagrave logo on the mudflaps.

Quoting Ian Schulte Great rig, i just stayed in this house last week when i went to take the city test, it is sooo hard to make these rigs look as similar to the real truck, but you did an excellent job, the brothers from 201/114/40 would be proud.
Thank you very much for your friendly comment Ian.I appreciate it very much and it makes me very happy. :) Check out my page soon because i'm building FDNY Rescue 1. Thanks again :)

Thank you very much Nick. Nice that you like it. I know what you mean. I like this striping design very much and this was one of the reasons for me to build this truck.

While I love the truck itself, I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of the Irish stripes. Not that I'm saying that E201's stripes being orange/white/green looks ugly, I just think it looks a little off. Great build regardless, as it does get boring seeing the same yellow/white FDNY stripes on so many trucks.

Thank you very very much Marcus. Because i used this technique on my Engine 43, i thought it could fit on an older Seagrave cab too. This is the result. Thanks again ;)

Awesome engine! Those snotted windows are something you don't see very often in such contexts. The detailing is great, I like it very much!
