I think some sort of short range radar to augment the cannon would be both sexy and practical.
Attack!
I agree completely about the radar. A buddy of mine suggested something like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phalanx_CIWS It looks to me like a unit like that would take up a considerable amount of space on a smaller mech like this guy. What do you think? As for the miniguns: I know, I know... but I just had to! I started working on this mech at BW11 (while sitting behind my MOC's) and I had just purchased both of the miniguns (as well as most of the dark tan on the mech). |

this is an awesome mech! I love the armored look and the color scheme you used. the weapons are also well built; it's really easy to have to many or too big of weapons (or too small for that matter) but they are perfect for this mech. great work! |

The chainguns in the chest and the missiles are from Brickarms?
Yes sir, they are indeed BrickArms. Thanks for the compliments as well! |

Amazing job, the tripod is great and the weapons are massive, specially the main AA cannons. The chainguns in the chest and the missiles are from Brickarms? Loved the fuel tanks in the back and the legs are very well constucted and intricate. Dark tan is a good choice of color for a ground mech like this one. |

Whoa! I like the color-scheme, building techniques, and that cockpit. That looks like a solid build. It must have taken a lot of work and it shows. |

I for one like the miniguns and the tripod design makes this a very worthy battle platform. I hope many more come to appreciate your work. |

I like the overall build of this. But it strikes me more as a general mobile emplacement, not just specifically an Anti-Air. Nice hulking design though. ^Blub^ |

Thanks, man! Just wait until you see my next post. (Currently having issues photographing the lights in it correctly...) |

SPADA...I dig this six ways to sunrise. The tripod is an intrinsically stable format for the legs (but not popular in the genre). I like the dark tan as well. Normally, I am not a fan of large glass canopies on surface combat platforms, but in the case of this ADA gun it simply makes sense. I can't bring myself to endorse the mini-guns near the mid-section as I don't think they are actual Lego (it's like a religious thing for me), and I think some sort of short range radar to augment the cannon would be both sexy and practical. On the whole however, this thing rocks. Attack! |
