A Nocturnian embassy in the desert realm of Kaliphlin.
About this creation
This creation is for the GUilds of Historica challenge over on Eurobricks. I decided to join up and am now a part of the smallest Guild, Nocturnus. This embassy was bilt for the second group chalenge.
Following the command of the High King, Nocturnian forces have set up an embassy in the region of the Kaliphlin guild. Here they conduct business with the regulars and slowly die of boredom, or for the undead, re-die of boredom. They built the structure with the help of local merchants, wanting it to blend in with the local style. The Nocturnian visitors wanted to be fortified, but not draw undue attention to themselves. Led by Commander Jarvael Armgo, the small garrison can hold its own against much larger forces. Here, a local merchant is trying to gain the support of the Nocturnus Guild, to buy safety in case Kaliphlin is swept under in the coming war.

The front of the embassy. The gate is quite formidable, which serves the Nocturnians well in case they are attacked by their host city. The Nocturnians are happy being good emmisarries, but if attacked, they will not be afraid to fight.

The merchant and his household retainers.

The other side of the embassy.

One of the merchant's men is offering a magical dagger to Commander Jarvael Armgo, in hope that they can buy the support of Nocturnus.

The main tower.
Sorry for the giant shadow in these pictures. It was super nice outside and I didn't really pay atention to the huge shadow. I just wanted to enjoy the sun and take some pictures. I hope you'll forgive me.

I would be honored to participate in the MOCathalon again. I think it'll be a good motivator for me to get back on the wagon, which I've been slipping off of for a little bit (being busy with school). Thanks a ton for the invite, I accept and look forward to the event. |

Looks great indeed! Like al the others said, the doors, batarangs in the flag-thingie and the tires on the helmets really add to the detail of such a smaller MOC! Excellent, keep it up! - greetings, Elderon |

I like the minifigs! Where did you get the golden jewel on the turban - The one on the minfig riding the camel? Great MOC!
It's from the Series 6 genie minifigure. The genie may be my all-time favorite of the collectible minifigs. |
