Advanced Customization Pt. 5: Melee Weapons for the UXM-1.T
The Colaborative takes pride in their Mechs' ability to effectively weild Melee Weapons. In this area, DragonTech specializes in Plasma Blade, Shockpluse, and Photonic Arcwave technologies.
About this creation

Plasma Blades operate by cycling high energy plasma within an intense magnetic feild. the resulting blade is capable of literally slicing through metal "Like a hot knife through butter." To achive greater energy efficiency, our Plasma Blade Weapons project the blade around a solid metal core in which is encased multiple magnetic feild generators and plasma injectors.
Thusly, DragonTech Plasma Blade Weapons are best adapted to precise, horizontal, shallow-penatration slicing attacks. There are three current Plasma Blade types: The Claymore-35 Plasma Sword...

...The Antoinette-36.C Plasma Axe...

...And the Bowie-B.37 Twin Plasma Daggers.

Shockpulse weapons make use of the fact that when a negatively charged object comes within a certain distance of a positively charged object, an electrical discharge travles between them. In the center of each shockpulse weapon is a so-called "Quantum Van Der Grapf" which generats intense positive and negative in superconductor poles in various points on the weapon. The resulting discharges are stabilized by a magnetic feild. DragonTech Shockpulse weapons are hybrids of Concussive Force and Electric Stun weapons. Three types are currently availible; The "Buck-and-a-Quarter" K-31 Shockstaff... (cookies for the first person to guess where i got that from)

...The "Ouch Time" L-32 Twin Stun Sticks... (muffins this time)

...And the "Backfire" M-33 Shockpulse Sheild... (that's based on a Russian Military Jet. Cake if you can guess the official alphanumeric designation)

The process of generating Photonic Arcwaves is extreemly complicated and, as a matter of fact, classified. Nevertheless, the process is extraordinarily energy-efficient. Additionally, the magnetic containment of arcwaves is takes place much more efficiently than that of plasma. Overall then, Photonic Acrwave Tecnology makes for a remarkably efficient melee weapon. Shown here is the SI-30.UX Standard Issue Arcwave Saber, Incredibly efficient but also incredibly diffucult to mass-produce. Photonic Arcwave weapons are best suited to stabbing and slashing attacks.

The Fine Print: The UXM-1 and all of its derrivitaves excluding the UXM-1.T Bloc.30 are (c) BiO . "The Colaborative" refers to The CBMC Colaborative, an immaginary company that has become the collective brandname of a looseknit subcommunity within the group: The Elite Machaniers . Quoting Andrew AKA Hump-Free I do believe that you are overdue an apology, seeing as I took out my stress out on you multiple times, for such immaturity I do hope you forgive me. I've been abnormally stressed out due to some personal issues, but that does not excuse my recent behaviour, especially since your aim was to help. I'm not sure how you feel about HFR!!! coming to an end, but I really need some time to cool down, and take my mind of MOC Pages for a while. Good luck with your future Projects, and it's nice to see you made a sleek set of Melee weapons.
I Accept your apology and apologise for my own immaturity. I dont know what to think about HFR anymore, but i hope you can eventually resume your contributions to MOCPages Be they in the form of MOCs or a resume of your Critiquing thereof. Constructive Criticism is Allways appreciated here at Dragonstar Technologies and just because your service fell apart (which is my fault just as much as anyone else's) doesn't mean it has to stop. I realise this reply may be severely belated but i did not see yours untill just now. Having nothing further to say, I now end what has turned out to be more a letter than a comment. --"Woof!"

awesome! my favorite would probably be the shield. and that's a slick color scheme you used for the weapons, too. perhaps the only issue I see with this is the same mini-Mech design flaw I pointed out with the MAU-1 frame, that standard mini-Mech wrists aren't well-suited for use with melee weapons. oh, and as you can probably figure, I managed to link out one of the quotes to Captain Tarpals. :P
