About this creation
This is the first of a couple weapons I designed based on Marvel characters, "The Cyclops" Optic Rifle. Inspired by Cyclops, one of my favorite superheros, I came up with this oversized double barrel shotgun. I like the idea of two barrels with the visor attachment that turns it into one beam. Much like Scott Summers has two eyes and when he puts on his visor, it becomes one beam. I went with the color scheme of his costume from the X-Men cartoons, my favorite of his looks over the years. I knew I wanted to put the X symbol somewhere on the rifle. The back of the stock was the only place I could get it to fit properly. It's a nice final touch to this model.
