Corner building in 4 wide scale. This is one of the first buildings I built in this scale. I wanted to see if it were a viable scale to work in with regards to attaining a decent amount of detail. It is not based on any actual building.

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 it s simple to me that your buildings score 10/10 everytime, so I really can t find this one better, they re all gorgeous, yet, I m curious in this instance as to why you went with trans bricks when normal 2x2 windows would have had the same result is it opacity that you re looking for? do you block your windows with colored bricks? I m fascinated by your project and aproach.
Cyber: Thanks! And, apologies for my very late reply! Regarding your question on the windows: I make an attempt to work with, buy and keep in inventory as few different pieces as possible. Buying and maintaining an inventory of windows would be a costly pain, when I already have 1000's of 1x2 trans clear bricks, colored plates and tiles, etc. And, yes, behind the clear bricks I typically place black bricks.

Your window work, as always, is superb. Good luck with your new scale!

Quoting Jim Garrett Very nice. You could even place some of these "4-wide" scale buildings in the background of your minfig scale town for some forced perspective.
Thanks, Jim. The minifig scale layout has been dismantled. These buildings will (hopefully) be the start of a new layout in this reduced scale.

I like this "4wide" scale buildings. Impressive how much details you can build in. Didn't notice the scale first. Great!
