About this creation

It's time for some original weapon designs. FX Industries presents the IR-234 pistol. FX Industries is the name of my fictional weapons company. One of my nicknames in highschool was FX because I would make sound effects in class when I was bored. Most of the weapons' names will be a series of letters followed by the number of pieces in the gun itself, not counting the amount in magazines. The letters for this one are IR because the gun was inspired by a pistol in "I Robot". This is the second version of this weapon. The first was 2 studs longer than this one. When I built the real model, it was longer than my 9MM Beretta. So I cut it down and it looks much better.

Quoting LEGO Lord Your new gun MOCs look much more sleek and clean than your ones previously. I would just suggest to make the trigger actually be able to flex back - it would give out a fancier appearance.

My real versions have triggers using shock absorbers. They don't look much like triggers, but they have a great feel and nice resistance. For the LDD models, I went with static triggers just for appearance. Thanks for commenting!

Wow, this looks really good. When I firstly saw it I really thought it is that pistol from I, robot. Maybe one thing that i think should be improved..... cartridge ejection port (or how is that hole in slide called). Maybe if it is bit larger, it would look better.
