Believe it or not, this was a boy scout photography merit badge requirement. They wanted me to do a "story in photos" or something like that.
About this creation
Jacob: Okay, it's just a simple leak. Easy fix.
Jacob: Drat, it's rusted.
Bob: Hi Jacob! What's up?
Jacob: Hi Bob. So much for easy fix now that Bob has arrived.
Bob: So, what are you doing down here?
Jacob: Leaky pipe. Turns out the whole thing is rusted, so the miracle of duct tape isn't going to help much. I'll have to replace it.
Bob: That stinks. Why don't you just call a plumber?
Jacob: Are you kidding? They cost you an arm and a leg, and then run off without doing much at all. Besides, it's just a leaky pipe. Easy fix.
Jacob: Well, now that you're here you might as well make yourself useful. Go shut off the water.
Bob: Will do.
Ten minutes later...
Jacob: BOB, HAVE YOU SHUT OFF THE WATER YET?
Bob: YES, I DID!
Jacob: Good!
Jacob: GAH!!! BOB, GET DOWN HERE!!!
Bob: What? Did I forget something?
Jacob: You didn't shut off the water!
Bob: Yes I did! I shut of the faucet, the toilet, the dishwasher...and I was going to shut off the rain outside, but I couldn't find the valve.
Jacob: Why you buffoon...I meant shut of the water shut-off valve! Alright, I'll do it myself. In the meantime, try to find something to hold that water!
Bob: This barrel should last us 30 minutes or so.
Bob: Or maybe not...
Bob: Hey...it stopped!
RUMBLE RUMBLE
Bob: AHHHHH!!!
Jacob: Emergency! EMERGENCY!
Bob: Believe me...I noticed!
Jacob: The shut-off valve was busted! We'll have to replace that later, but for now, we have to fix this!
Jacob: an extra pipe should be around here somewhere...
Jacob: Found it!
Bob: Let's see if I can plug this thing.
Bob: There!
Jacob: Alright...
Jacob: There! By the way, I sure hoped you plugged it with something that dissolves in water.
Bob: Like duct tape?
Jacob: Um, no, not like duct tape. Why?
Bob: Cause that's what I plugged it with.
Jacob: WHAT!?
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
Jacob: Maybe I better call a plumber...
Bob: I like that idea!
