Islanders Palmsail Canoe
Third week seed part entry
About this creation
My 3rd week entry for Forbidden Coves' Pirate Part Plunder.

The seed part:

Horse hitching

I used the seed part on the canoe ofcourse, two red ones and I also found a use for a dark gray one on the statue.

The boat is pretty spacy

These are just smaller pictures which are needed to deeplink in the Forbidden Cove forum as the maximum dimensions there are 400x300 pix,
normally I would use brickshelf for that but appearently it's down for some reason :S

Quoting Jakob Hestbaek Great use of a difficult part. Also a great moc. But I don't like how the canoe is hovering.
It should lay deeper in the water yes, but then again, the seed part must be visible :P

The technique for the canoe is absolutely brilliant! You should've save the secret of how you did it for the end of the page so that we could guess at it.

You really have a knack for pulling off some unique shapes with boats. In this scale, it proves that you have mastered it! Very clever parts usage my friend. You will definitely get my vote!

Really gives that boat a cool curvey look! But I don't like how it looks like the boat is sort of floating over the water.

I think the best part of this is that the 'seed' part is actually a brilliant way to build a boat, it looks natural like it's supposed to be there all along. Very clever! And very nifty dio for it, too.

Wow! This contest is really bringing out some very amazing creations from you! The boat, once again, is fantastic! I would never have thought of using that horse hitch piece for a boat. The statue looks really menacing with the torches sticking out of the sides! Very well done :)
