75-Z Desert Speeder
An experimental heavily modified 74-Z Speederbike designed for the harshest desert conditions. Beats riding a slow moving stinkin dewback all day.
About this creation

The experimental 75-Z speeder bike was a speeder specially designed for harsh desert environment with engine filtration and in built cooling systems proved which proved far more effective than its earlier model the 74-Z Speeder.

Originally made by Imperial Engineers the model never got passed the experimental phase and was scrapped and deemed a failure by the creators, it eventually fell into the hands of some Sandtroopers stationed on the remote Outer Rim desert planet of Alluyen

Using these vehicles on routine patrol through the desert wastelands of the planet it quikly began to grow in popularity amongst the troopers for its superiority and efficiency compared to the slow sluggish moving dewbacks and the predecessor 74-Z speeder which constantly broke down due to clogged engines caused by the toxic dust particles in the Alluyen atmosphere.

Officially only three speeders were made along with sixteen replicated ones crudely made by the Sandtroopers on Alluyen. During the fall of the Empire all were destroyed in battle with the exception of two which fell into the hands of the Rebel Alliance and were put to use.

Now onto the moc itself. When making this I tried to make it as playable as posible as often it is my younger brother who ends up playing with it. The Blaster and the oxygen tank/antena can be attached to the speeder while the trooper is riding.

Now a few pics without the Sandtrooper.

As you would have noticed I do not have an official Lego Sandtrooper so I had to make do with the pieces I had. I am a Lego Purist and hate the mere sight of a sharpie lying next to a Clone Trooper after an incedent in my past which involved a Trooper, a sharpie and three dodgily crappy coloured Clones that can no longer be used Though I think I went rather well. Feel free to tell me your thoughts

Not bad considering the pieces I had on hand

All Sandtroopers stationed on Alluyen use a filtered oxygen tank due to the microscopic metal particles floating in the air. And when on patrol have a long range communication antena to keep in contact with the base.

Takin out one Rebel at a time

Nobody messes with the Empire

Notes:This is officially my first moc on MOCpages and definitely not the last. Thank you for those who made an effort to read my ramblings. I'm really keen to hear out your thought on this moc and i'm eager to become a better moccer. So please Rate and Comment :)

Very well done for a first MOC! The speeder looks great, and the stormtrooper is really good considering its purist. You're not alone in hating the site of a sharpie...
