Moc Speed Contest Round 5: The Melting Chamber
Final round!
About this creation
I am competing against Quad?????. Our category is "The Judge Cruncher: Want to get your own back on one of the MOC Speed Contest Judges? Well now you can! Take either Flare, Ben or George and put them in a torture device of your choice! The brain squasher?! The gut twister?! The turner-inside-outer?! The more gruesome the better :D"
I present my creation. Flare, the last surviving member of the Magnificent "Moc Speed Contest" judges panel, is being slowly exterminated in the Melting Chamber. Shortly after the conclusion of the final round of that renowned contest, a dastardly contestant with a grudge seized the judges.

After fifty years of captivity, the defiant Flare is being slowly exterminated.

The melting chamber, through the use of two powerful heaters, can melt a minifig from bottom to top. Let's take a closer look at the agony that Flare is in.

With his feet suspended above the flame, Flare is hanging from his arms, this position forces his shoulder out of his socket. This is definitely not helping his arthritis.

The flames licking at his feet have not done any serious damage...yet.

These blisters are a gruesome foreshadowing of what is to come.

This picture shows the trousers in their entirety. I put a handle on them so I could hold them over the flame.

I am glad that I made it to the final round and I want to thank the judges for taking the time to run this contest. Congratulations to Quad. Now that my contests are over I should be getting back to my usual schedule. I realize that my last nine creations were for contests. Well, I hope you enjoyed looking.

Congratulations on your win! First prize is awarded to you! :) Although I prefer Quad's entry to yours (although both are great for so little time!), you have gotten two votes out of three so that makes you the winner... 'gratz!

A very creative MOC, Sir Balamorgineas. The build is good and is also quite unique. You also managed to build this quickly, which was important for the contest in general.

OK.... Sir, when I saw the first vig I thought "hmmm, this seems small, I'd expect more from him". Then I scrolled down and saw the rest of the build and I thought "WOW! What a fantastic idea!" Your large scale figure legs have a certain charm about them and the heaters are fantastic! For that reason, I awarding you my vote. Thank you.

Nice job! I know what you mean about the last 7 MOCs are for contests I have about the same amount and I still have to do 3 more for other contests!

Awesome work! At first I was a little worried that you'd built a tiny vig in two days, but then I saw the rest! Great work, and good luck!
