Last week I needed a break from my massive project. I was waiting for a Bricklink order so I though I'd make some smaller cars.
About this creation
I just love building these!
First we have a Hot Rod inspired Tiny.
Vintage F1 racer Lancia D50
Beach Buggy inspired citrus concept (you may have seen this before).
Meh, Can't think of a name for this one lol
Some cute little bug car
And a couple more...
A futuristic cruiser
A teeny weeny Mini Cooper
Some even more teeny weeny cars, a sports car and hatchback
After seeing Nils O's version, I wanted to give it a try (hope you don't mind Nils)
I quite like how it turned out. The wing mirrors are a bit low I know lol
And a WIP shot of my Large project The JPS Team Lotus Transporter . I had the initiative to contact the company that restored this vehicle to its former glory. And they very kindly sent me a whole load of images of the truck, including images of when the truck was handed over to Colin Chapman. And the original blueprints. I have no excuse not to make it as accurate as possible now :-)
You should be able to tell quite how large it is as i placed all these little cars on the top of it :-D
Hope you like them! Which is your favourite?
And credit goes to Nils for the Ferrari TR. thanks Nils!
Your new transporter looks like it's coming along quite nicely! Nice details on your Testarossa too, A combination of techniques from both yours and Nils O's would look fantastic. As for the micro cars, they're all very good looking, but that Mini is simply amazing!
A-MA-ZING!!! You prove that even little MOCs can be awesome. Special award for the speeder, the little bug (absolutly funny), the testarossa and the cruiser. I like the way you use the same base to build 2 or 3 vehicles.
You have definitely been busy building it seems! Some great small scale vehicles here, and the transporter is looking great; that's fantastic that they sent you blueprints and everything! Good luck with finishing it!
Hi Tom, those are all very cool! I can't find a favourite ... maybe the micro Mini ... And, of course, I like the Testarossa (You're welcome!). But I have to say that the rear window is wrong: The Testarossa has a vertical window and a horizontal hood between two side "blades" (similar to the Countach). I like the idea with the 45 deg wedges, I'll have to get some of these to try them on one or another car... And the transporter will be awesome, can't wait to see it finished! Great job! :-))
I don't want to choose... I want them all!. No, very nice little builds (the mini!!, you should try to make a Monte Carlo Rally version :-) ), but also that transporter WIP is really something. Love it love it love it!!!
I'll take a grey speedster to go, please :-)... looks kind of vintage. It was really nice of the transporter people to send you all that info - use it well! Can't wait to see that beast finished. As for me, all this D-Typery has given me a bit of a Moc-block so I'm building something else right now.
Fantastic work on everything! You really used those wheel cover pieces to good use, and I like the flowing look it gives. The little greenish bug is really cool, and the colour looks great. The purple pouncer is probably my favourite though. Great work!
