Brick-built Roman Lion
About this creation
Sorting tan pieces for a new MOC and using table scraps did this brick-built Lion using the head piece. Anybody else tried this using the headpiece?

Neat. Looks like he's wearing a crown or maybe has a crew cut.

Yep, my sister made a lion using that piece long ago when I got the first Hogwarts castle :O I think the second arched brick of the front leg doesn't look very good on the lion, it makes the leg look awkward, other than that it looks great.

I never thought of using that headpiece for a statue. Clever, but I think you can come up with a better solution for the front legs. Anyway, I'm liking that temple behind it!

Though there isn't an alternative lion face, this piece doesn't fit well here. I do think you did a pretty good job with it, though.

For a table scrap it's pretty good but I know your standard (you could do a lot better) The legs look awkward. I think you might be on to a winner here, with a few improvements. The following link should help ;-)

The front legs look wrong. When a lion lays like that they have their legs in like an elbow look. Keep workin on it. :)

First I am Italian-American so I am partial to things with an Italian flavor! Then I am a LEO so I equally am partial to the cat family! This MOC combined both! so how could I give it less then 5 heads!?! Plus it was well made. Now, yes, I have used that lion head piece in my: The Story of SNOW WHITE - Part I - THE STEPMOTHER which can b e found here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/286667 I hope you enjoy it!

I have not seen that done before, but it would definitely be a useful technique for many different historical themes. Good job!

That is brilliant! The legs are well done, and using the head piece is so obvious, yet no one's thought of it before. Truly fantastic!
