A cheaper, more efficient form of land vehicle than mechs, NEOS hover tanks are the primary force on less extreme terrains. Enjoy!
About this creation

The 'Cyclone' is faster and lighter than its counterpart, the 'Thunder' hover tank, which makes it more effective in covering large distances on the battlefield. The tradeoff is less armor. The 'Cyclone' relies on its speed and angled hull to avoid and deflect projectiles.

The forward maneuvering thrusters are thin and elongated for aerodynamics, but do not boast the power of the rear thrusters.

The rear thrusters, while less sleek, are the main driving force of the 'Cyclone'.

Rotating pods in the center allow for increased versatility.

The tank's only armament is a powerful coilgun, capable of tearing through armor and shattering buildings.

The cockpit only has room for one pilot, so an on-board AI is required to improve targeting and navigation.

The 'Cyclone' and the 'Thunder' together.
This was another fun build, which allowed me to experiment with a few new pieces. While I don't like how messy the back looks (especially the bottom, which is strategically NOT shown), the overall shape, the cannon, and the cockpit canopy turned out very much to my liking. Basic layouts were based loosely on the 'Thunder' as well as a Landmaster tank from Star Fox. Thanks for viewing, and let me know what you think!

Sweet tanks! I love the futuristic shapes, and those control surfaces in the back! I may have to try building a sci-fi tank now... |

I love the shape, and the Cyclone and Thunder go together very well. Hey, I know this is way off topic, but do you think there will be another PokeMOC League Tournament later this year? I wasn't able to join the competition, although I really wanted to.
Possibly around the same time this past contest started, but I can't say for sure. A good way to compete with building Pokemon aside from the PokeMOC League Tournament would be the Pokemon of the Month Club. Every month there is a new contest. |

I have no idea why, but these tanks and mechae of yours always seem to have something missing... Maybe it's lighting?
Possibly, although I have a total of five lamps and a large window to light my MOCs. Plus I think it would have similar effects on my other creations. Keep thinking about it, and let me know if you come to a conclusion. Fixing the one missing element to my mechs and tanks would be a crucial aid to my building style. |

Very sleek looking! As always, love the turrets- what is the blue piece at the end of it's main turret?
The entire barrel consists of a few plates and an old crane arm piece. It was difficult to work with, but I think it looks good. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=2350b |

I love the blue on grey, the angled style looks nice. My only con is the cockpit's location. It's a nice pit, but it is a bit close to the surface. Good thing it's a tank, nice job. |
