At first sight it looks a bit simple but upon taking a closer look I see the peer is actually pretty accurate, I suggest you add some more colors to the scheme, if possible some dark brown on the peer, black or gray/dark gray perhaps, maybe some floating stuff in the water. The proportions are fine already.
