As the need for a light, small, swift, and agile mech growing stronger each day, engineers pursued multiple different types design styles, but very few of them were cheap enough to mass-produce, and all but one of them were too unequipped or incompatible to be used efficiently. This is the final result. I'm not 100% satisfied with it, but I quite like the cockpit/body.
About this creation
(Current UNEA army as of January 20th, 2012)
Equipped with six anti-personnel rifles, the Microraptor fulfills it's purpose with ease as an anti-infantry unit. On the battlefield, the pilot may choose to activate small engines in it's "boots" that can propel it upwards of ten feet in the air. The pilot may also use these engines to "speed" or charge across the battlefield. This, coupled with it's already lightweight design, allows the Microraptor to run at up to 120MPH. However, the engines have a cooling period after each short use, due in large part to their small size and low weight.
I would strongly urge you to check out my original inspiration for this MOC, Cody G's NEOS Jackal.

Very nice build, I'm glad I could inspire somebody. The body looks great, and the legs are decent, but using custom joints using technic bricks might help clean them up a bit. Keep up the good work!
Alright, much appreciation for your comment and advice!
