About this creation

When I start a new project, the hardest part is literally that; getting started. I'll sit in front of my LEGO for ages deciding how to start. And once I do get started my progress is often stopped by a new idea, which is followed by destroying what I had just made and started again. Hah. But once I do (finally) get a good plan sorted in my head, all the rest happens rather quickly.
Which brings us to the point of page. This is the start of my next project! Hopefully my best so far. Hopefully. As you can probably work out, it's a hot rod but I'm trying to put a lot of detail in; leaf springs, chassis (which sparked that mindless ramble up above, because I took a LONG time designing and redesigning that. Sorry :P), drivetrain, brakes, etc.
Hopefully (if I don't run out of blue plates) I should have this finished soon :)

Cheers for all the great comments guys! :) I actually finished it a day after I posted this page, but I haven't been able to take photos. Sorry about that, but hopefully I'll find some time to take (and upload) some this weekend. Stay tuned! |

Im like that. I forgot what creation I made, and I remember how hard it was to start out, but somehow it came out awesome. I think it was my inline 6 diesel engine.

This should be very neat once it's done! All those functional bits replicated to look good (if not necessarily function) should make for a great chassis! |

I am exactly the same – I think a bit, then think a bit more, start to panic, then I finally start building. Once I start things happen very quickly. Any who this is looking great already. I love the drive train and dif. Excellent start. |

Great work, so far. Clever parts usage for the differantial (poor droid)! I know it's quite early for that but I'd say it could be a Ford of the 1930s... I'll rate it later. Well done, so far. Keep us informed about the progres :-)) |
