From first episode of 5th season - Eleventh hour. There is an Episode called The girl who waited. But for you who have already seen Eleventh hour, this will make sense. :)

All minifigs created by my stepson Zeebass . The biggest Doctor Who fan.

*** Spoiler Alert ****
In 1996, Amelia Pond prays to Santa Claus in her bedroom; a crack in her wall frightens her and she wants him to send someone to mend it. The Doctor crashes outside her house onto her shed. 'Stuff happens that makes the Doctor have to leave Amelia, promising her he will return in five minutes and take her on a trip with him. An excited Amelia rushes back inside to collect her things, and runs back out to the site where the Tardis were before.
Then she waits for the Doctor. Only to be dissapointed. He will be 12 years to late.

Notice the "rift". An important "artifact" of this episode, actually the whole of 5th season. Since we didnt make Amelias bedroom, we still thought we would represent it on this MOC. So it had to be placed beneath her !

The shed that The Doctor landed his Tardis onto. Not much left of it. :p

Amelia with her suitcase. Best idea we had of how to make it red and white.

I love the way we did the door and staircase.

The build was made up of 5 pieces. The buttom. The house. Her sidewalk. The "gateway" leading to her garden. And the garden itself.

Backview. Not that much to see.

You know when you run out of blocks, you just start to use whatever pieces you have to make up for those lacking.

One thing that annoys me with the build is the roof. we didnt have the right blocks to make it "perfect. But this works , sort of. :)

This build also represent all the things we have learned from you all. We have only known about MOCpages for 3 weeks. We have learned so many styles of building, methods to put bricks together in "unusual" ways, and how to represent a build.
With this we have tried to put all the things we think we have learned together, as a way of showing what you have teached us.

PS:

While we were taking these pictures of Amelias house, the actors from the new Doctor Who comic were there too, shooting scenes for the upcoming show. Say hi to the actors ! :)
Front: The doctor and Amy Pond.
Back: Three characters whos identity is still a secret. So they had to wear bags over their heads before we took any pictures of them.
And nevermind the producers next to the house arguing about who wrote the brilliant manuscript.

Thanks for all the comments. Im not gonna reply on everything. My wife just had surgery so i use my time on her. But were still around ! :)

It definately makes sense. We need more backgrounds in diffrent colors !

I wonder if taking the pictures in front of a black background would help? Personally, I have around four different background colors I use, just to contrast well enough against my MOC.

Indeed. My plans were/ are to put a picture of a nightsky as background. And the doctor with his Tardis comin flying towards the shed. That was the original goal. Except the green bricks i used for the house just looked weird with my first couple of light setups. But it will be done somewhere in the future. Right now were just to busy with our comic Doctor Who adventure.

Thanks, and oh yes indeed. We have just recently started learning about setting up light and using our camera ( Canon EOS 40D ). And our next goal is to learn about editing our pictures. I was told to join IIRS since it should be a friendly group whenever one needs advices. :)

Thanks. We have seen the episode a few times before we started the build. Only thing missing here is actually 2 more windows on 1st floor. And 2 trees and beehives in her garden. Otherwise the setup is an "exact copy". We did all this because its an excellent episode and a beautiful way to introduce Math Smith.

This is just outstanding! I wanted to make this myself but I lacked enough yellow pieces. This was probably my favorite episode with Matt Smith. Very well done :D
