The mighty Ferrari FXX. Well, this model has actually been together for a while, so I'm glad I finally got a chance to take some pictures and post it. It's based on my Enzo Ferrari model from a while back, which now that I think about it was a couple years ago already...Time sure flies! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!
About this creation
Some shots of the car all around:

Doors open:

Some shots of the interior: The black interior didn't go over well with the lighting I had, so these are some of the better pictures I managed to get

Next, everything is open:

With the engine cover open, the enormous 789 HP V12 engine is revealed:

A quick look under the hood:

Now some close ups, and details:

And finally, a few parting overall shots.

Thanks for viewing, I hope you like it!
As an update to anyone interested, I have built what I can so far of my next project, and am about to order some pieces in the next week. Not sure when it will be done since I will be pretty busy in the upcoming months, but I am excited about it and will finish it eventually!
Also, keep an eye out for my VW mosaic, to be posted soon.
Thanks again, and happy building everyone!

great job, currently i'm working on a 10 wide Ford GT which i'm sure you had many of the same problems on the FXX, although you did build in a bigger scale, (and the Ford GT celebrates Ferrari's loss against the GT40 (4 races, GT40 won all four) please check out the wip!! http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/337679 |

Thanks guys! To answer questions about the door, I was using a short string piece with studs on the end as a "hinge," and then I just propped the doors up for the pictures, which doesn't really count, I know, but after fiddling around with it long enough, I decided that was the best I could do. And haha yes, Mortalswordsman, I should have cleaned it first... My room gets so dusty! |

Another excellent build. I love the bodywork all around especially the stripes and the side air intakes. The rear end is simply amazing. And as usual the engine and interior are packed with details too – but they do need a valet/steam clean ;) hahah. Can’t wait to see your VW mosaic. Glad you like my horse :) |

You've definately outdone Lego here! It's excellent! Legos version is Average. I like all the fine details, like the technic half pins in the bonnet. Great work Ryan! |

And BTW, do the doors open on hinges or did you have to do what you did on your Enzo? |
