WIP - 1971 Ford 'C' Type Gelo Racing transporter
About this creation
My second MOC for the Classic Race Teams group. This time a WIP from the transporter for the Gelo Racing team.

At the moment I have finished the frame (20x50 studs) and the cabin. It has opening doors, working steering and a working engine.

Amazing work ! Bravo ! Hey Thomas I read about your Mocpage that you live in Holland, and especially if you are a baseball player , well I also play baseball in Italy and in Europe as it is quite rare as something I was surprised to find another player with my own age on this site, especially in Europe. I play baseball as a second base in Piacenza, in what team do you play and in which position?

Quoting Croc Bomb Looks like it will have to be longer than that! Maybe extend the wheel base a little?
Too short? Well, at the moment of taking the photos the truck was about 50 studs long. At this moment the truck is already 60 studs long. :-D

You really captured the spirit of the truck. Very nice build, finish off the frame nice and smooth to compliment the classic stud look on the cab. Nice Build!

Looks like it will have to be longer than that! Maybe extend the wheel base a little? Maybe I only think that because of the angles. Whatever, its still pretty cool!

This is great - I like the old school look of it and the functions. It's a tad smaller than most of the other transporters in the group, though.

Great Truck!!! Thank you to let us have a preview!

Not rating yet. :) Overall, it's really good. I'd loose the cheese slopes in the front and replace them with a yellow plate so that it wouldn't loose its "studness." :) ~LB Jr.

Quoting DeTomaso Pantera Great work Thomas! It looks really cute without the 'box' on the top. I can't wait to see this completed! BTW you forgot the indicators on the front ;-)

This looks BRILLIANT so far!! I won't rate it now, but it's easily a 5/5 from what I can see. The cab, both inside and outside, looks really accurate. Great to see Technic features in there too. Good luck with the rest!
