My entry for both Torrent Company Contest's Round 3 AND my moc-off with E.B. This was the product of a long time (2 weeks!) away from MOCpages, which kind of got me past my Builder's Block. This is by far one of my best diorama's yet, with everything being custom. Let's go check it out!

E.B. 's entry
Jedi Master Goruq Da was sent to Kashyyk to aid the Republic forces already stationed there with his Clone Battalion. He took his Commander, a normal Clone Trooper, an ARF Trooper, and a Scout Trooper with him on a scouting mission deep within some enemy held territory. A local Wookie guided them on their mission. This was while Order 66 was just starting on Kashyyyk...
To the moc!

Overview of the scene.

Left side view.

Back view.

Right side view.

A close-up of a dead droid (impaled by a Wookie knife), with some surrounding vegetation.

More vegetation.

Even more vegetation!

The water that I added for a swamp. Not too bad huh? Only about 15 teal bricks went in to this (my entire collection of it)!
WARNING! ALL TEXT ABOVE PICTURES FROM THIS POINT ON! Sorry, I'm too lazy to fix my mistake. XD

Front view of the clones.

"Execute Order 66."
"It will be done my Lord."

Here is an incoming Mini Gunship from the 2011 Advent Calendar. It looked good in the moc, so I left it! Reinforcments maybe?

Left side of the trail.

My rock/hill thing. It looks good, my landscaping skills have vastly improved. Thanks A.A. (Noname) for giving me pointers a while back!

The tree from the Advent calender. Looks good!

My big tree (no leaves!). I used A LOT of barrels and a fllexi-tube to get it to lean. Leaning Tree of Kashyyyk maybe?

Right side of the trail.

The Wookie and Jedi Master Goruq Da. Da's body is from Plo Koon, and his head is made up of a POTC zombie and Werewolf hair. I created a new species?

The ARF trooper and Scout trooper.

The Clone Commander (with hologram) and normal Clone.

How I inverted the studs: HINGES!
I really think I am the first to do this. If not, tell me.

Here is a better shot off the base. The main part of the moc was built to sit in a little crevice.

Here is a shot off the entire dio pulled apart. Sure fun to put back together! (Sarcasm.)

"Order 66 complete Commander."
"Good, the Jedi traitor is dead."

END.
I had fun building this! It was a full on experiment that I think is worthy of recognition in some of the groups I am in. JK! LOL!
My 1 Year MOCiversary is coming up on January 29! I'm excited! I hope to upload something that day.
Constructive criticism and comments are appreciated!
KP out!

Hi Kyle! Firstly great MOC again!
Secondly I love that Jedi and he looks a bit like a Cathar : http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Quilb
Also, because I love this Jedi so much, I'd like to build a figure based on his for my later comics. Is that ok with you?
Perfectly fine Harry! Go ahead, just give creidit for the design to me if you want ;)

And if I can could you let me know where you got the head from?
I got it from a POTC set, it's in a Battle Pack and the set with the Captain's Quarters. zIt's one of the zombies. |

Hey guys, great creations from both of you. Just wanted you to know I am 100% free to judge Round 2 of this neat little rivalry. I have posted my comment in the conversation in The Chalenge group, and if you want me as a judge, please respond THERE, as opposed to HERE. Thanks, Dude theDude. |

Love the Jedi. Question - what happened to the Wookie?
Let's just say he either ran away or was shot and fell in the water. :P |

Nice work! I like all the details in it it! This was a hard decision, but I vote for your opponent. I felt like his entry was a bit more "clean" and I'm not a fan of how you used custom clones in this. This is still a great MOC though, nice job!
Okay, it's understandable. I agree with you, the moc could have been more cleanly put together. Thanks for judging. |

The hologram came in a new set. It is the New Republic Frigate. It depicts Emperor Palpatine. Perfect for Order 66! |

Not too bad Kyle! I do like the forced perspective with the LAAT gunship and your technique with the hinges and the 1x2 slopes. You could use several 1x1 bricks with 1 stud on the side and/or the 1x4 bricks with the studs on the side for that techniqe as well... You could use those hinges though to put the slopes at different angles to give it more a natural look. All in all though Kyle, I think you did an awesome job on this MOC and I can't wait to see some more from you soon! Good luck in the contest!!! :D |

Nicely done, although it's kind of small for taking two weeks to build, and your custom clones look a bit messy. Try some masking tape to get sharp edges. Glad you're out of your building block! |
