About this creation

Name: Mortillus
Species: Human necromancer
Motto: Shadows are my playthings, bones my toys.
History: Few have seen beneath the mystical armour of Mortillus the black knight and master of the un-dead. Some speculate the armour is actually a void, powered only by a dark twisted soul. There are certainly striking similarities to the red dragon sentries. Mortillus seldom enters battle personally, preferring to send hundreds of skeletal soldiers in his place. But when he does he swoops in on conjured wings and wielding his battle axe. But Mortillus is also a student of science as well as magic, and can be seen carrying a cannon strapped to his arm. No battlement built by human hands can withstand a broadside from him when he's wearing it. His natural enemy is Emperor Rex himself, who's empire he burns to own, though his plans are also and frequently opposed by Sir Rothgol of the Lake people, is the self appointed guardian of the gateway to the underworld.

This is intended as an update to Dragon Knight which I uploaded March 2011.

So far most of the changes are details on the armour and a new weapon, however I've also redesigned the lower leg and knee to give the figure more posing power. There is now and ankle bend and a double knee joint giving greater range of movement.

To fit in with this new leg design, I intend to bulk up the thigh, and completely redesign the shoulders and arms.

I think the chest/torso also could do with a little beefing up to match the new proportions better.

I may also increase the length of the neck, and extend the back section to give more clearance to carry the war axe, which is clashing with the current shoulder pads and skirt.

I know what you mean, I've amended the design of the axe in the later version (the one with the wings).
