1930's Ford Coupe
About this creation
I love Ford. This is my first large-scale, scratch built project. I am always looking for ways to improve it and open for suggestions :)

First Design-Long tube headers, Drag Radials on the back, V8 Ford Flat Head Engine, cooling fan, Jumper seats, "4 0n the Floor" manual tranny, a single carburetor, full-sized and functional trunk, removable hood and roof. It took about a day and a half to plan and build. The frame was actually from a different project and just so happened to fit with one very small adjustment.

Three-Quarter view of the rear

Above is the first version of the engine. Below is the updated engine with dual carburetors and coolant hoses. The headlights were also relocated and full door frames were added as well as a re-designed roof (a visor was added)
.

New engine design with new, short-pipe headers, re-located coolant hoses, new hood to fit the bigger engine, new roof to smooth out the roof line a bit, and a slightly better stance.

This was my inspiration for this build as well as the Ford coupe in American Graffiti

This looks cool! You need to work on your photographs a bit, they looks very over exposed. But i'm liking your first creation and look forward to seeing more.

Thanks, it means a lot :) As it sits right now, it has a ton of new features and details that I managed to squeeze in here and there. I will post it as soon as I get the time to do so. And no problem, your works are incredible :)

Hi Darrell. Welcome to mocpages. This is a great first moc. I love the new engine and the shape is great too. I am not going to offer any suggestions on this moc just keep building. However, I would suggest taking your photos nearer a window but point the camera away from the window to limit the glare. Glad you like my stuffs :)
