About this creation
This is my third and best attempt at building Sovereign, the main villain of the Bioware TPS/RPG Mass Effect. The odd, cuttlefish-like shape made for a tricky build.

I usually go into a game fully equipped with spoilers, so I knew that Sovereign was coming beforehand. What I wasn't expecting was the voice-acting.

I was imagining something along the lines of a Protoss Dark Archon from Star Craft. And why not? It's robo-Cthulhu, for pete's sake.

What I got was a chillingly calm performance, sounding as if it had so much contempt for us meatbags that it wasn't even hostile, just bored.

"Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh; you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding..."
