Hello there,
The lord of the castle Enlia looks over his land. He's zipping his wine, so he is not really paying attention. His mind is wandering most of the times. He is not the only one doing so...
This creation took me about 30 hours to create and it took most of my bricks. The little church on the left side was added at the last moment. I build another tower, but that one looked a little stupid...
I do not own a lot of figurines, and most of the ones I do own, look the same or are from lego city. I bought a cool castle set for the figurines in the front and for the animals.
I like the kitchen very much and I especially like the water. It probably is a standard effect, but nonetheless, I like it!
I hope you will enjoy my creation.
Greetz,
ELio
About this creation

The castle with the complete lay-out from the front.

Detail of the water on the left side.

The water and the support of the church. A simple detail, but I like it.

Lay-out from the right side.

Detail of the water with a little fishie...

The back-side, with on the left side the quarter of the lord of castle Enlia, in the middle a training area for the soldiers. On the right side are the stables and the prison. In the prison is a prisoner.

Backside with a secret passage to a hidden chamber...

Ah, there he is, lord Enlia, a bit of a dreamy man, who likes to pretend to read while he eats his chicken with some apples. He is looking at his land.

Behind him, he sees strange looking man fighting each other. And someones watching?!?, why are they doing that?

Hey, a man with a weird looking helmet, is looking at something. What is he looking at?

Ah, two suspicious looking dudes going over to the water...

They look pretty nasty, what are they up to? Oh, doesn't matter, I have my big castle here and they don't!

HAHAHAHA, An idiot trying to push the car of that little boy! Oh wait, that might be a box of gold for me, so I can buy a few bottles of wine!

WHEEEHAAA, there's that hot lady with her chicken. I love her daughter... Where is she?

But what lord Enlia does not see, is the daughter with another man. She likes him very much. But does he like her too?

Her father is chopping wood over there. Auchie, that's a pretty nasty axe, let's not fight him for his daughter. Oh, wait, I can send my wizard to enchant him. Where is he?

..............ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...............
INTERMEZZO FROM THE VERY GREAT STORY...

A few detail photos.
First the stables, I like the doors, I don't like the floor...

The armory, which does not look very neat, but lord Enlia doesn't really care about it. He only cares for wine, chicken and apples. And the woodchoppers daughter of course.

The kitchen, with all the cool stuff you can find at bricklink.

The gate, which can open and close. And the iron gate, which can also open and close. Inspired by the great lego set 6080, king's castle, which I bought recently and teared apart for this creation.

The church window. I like it very much.

The inside of the small church. The roof is removable, which this photo shows, because the roof is gone...

This is the prison, photo taken in a very early stage of the building. The building involved more wood, which I changed later on, because it did not look good. At least, that was my thought about it.

The first build chamber, with only old bricks. (What you can see...) It's a secret room. There's a fake treasure chest, it only holds more snakes.

I didn't know what to put inside, so I picked up some apples and put them in. Later on, I couldn't reach for them anymore, it was not accessible.
END OF THE INTERMEZZO...

Damned, what a stupid job! I hate it, cleaning up a roof made out of LEGO bricks, that stupid lord never comes here, which is no wonder, there are no stairs... Lucky I can fly...

Oh no! Some stupid schmucks are trying to attack us!?!?!?

AARCHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Luckily my left-handed soldier is there to kick some ass.

Why am I looking at a white wall? No enemy's come from that side...

Overall, it's a great castle with plenty to see and an interesting tale to tell too. I think I've visited this before, but neglected to tell you how much I liked overall feel of the model and the idea that the lord of the castle would rather pine for what he cannot have over just taking the woodcutter's daughter against her will. Plus, the woodcutter swings a pretty mean axe!
Thanks Dennis,
It had a great time building this castle. I used almost al my bricks back then. My collection has grown. I will make another castle one day. I'm trying to create things I haven't made yet.
Greetings,
Elio

This deserves way more comments/likes. Great build :)
Thanks patrick. I like this build, but it's not that great compared to other castles. But that doesn't matter, I'm just a beginner. |

Thanx,
I'm interested in your castle. It was my favorite theme when I was young, now I like almost anything, when it looks good.

Decent castle. Got a chuckle or two out of your commentary too.
Castle's my favourite theme; in fact, I should soon be posting a creation on how to scrounge castlesque minifigures from others themes. Kick me into gear and I'll post it if you're interested. :]
