The Super Chief Santa fe train
About this creation
This is my first proper lego train uploaded on Mocpages. It is based on the Super Chief, a santa fe train which operated in America. First built in 1936, the Super Chief was America's first Diesel-powered, all-Pullman sleeping car train. It was also known as "the Train of the stars" because it carried many American celebrities between Chicago and Los Angeles. The train's average speed was 60mph, but often reached speeds of up to 100mph. The train maintained its legendary high level of service until the end of Santa Fe passenger operations on May 1, 1971. My lego creation contains the Locomotive, a first class car and a second class car.

The front. In reality, the super chief has two windows at the front. But my train is only 6 studs wide and i didn't have 2 3 stud wide windows.

Great creation, you did a good job compacting details in a 6-wide train. I see you have the high speed train set...

Yeah, but they don't sell them anymore and the cheapest ones on ebay are £300. I'd rather build my own
