(Atop a great mountain Juon-Sai meditates He stirs as a figure approaches)
(Juon-Sai's apprentice Karlo Vinsan approaches)
Karlo- Master I am here as you requested.
Juon-Apprentice, I have called you here because of... events I have felt in the force. Your training is nearing an end my padawan, and I have but one more lesson to teach you.
Juon- As you know there are two sides of the force light and dark and they exist in a constant struggle with the Jedi and Sith both claiming supremacy. I however follow a different path. Both light and dark are mine and they are the key to all my power. The light is brightest and it's twilight and the darkness never darker. You must find that balance and then you will be a true Master.
(He hesitates for a moment sensing something)
Juon- I have but one last trial for you. Come.
Karlo- Yes, Master.
(They travel to the ancient ruins on the planet and a native approaches)
Juon- What is it Shaman?
Shaman Selkves- My lord he has returned.
(Juon whips around and the Shaman falls to his knees)
Juon-Who?
Selkves- Your old apprentice my lord. The one whom you exiled nearly 11 years ago.
Juon-Then kill him! Apprentice this is your last task, my old apprentice left this place in shame-a failure- and has now turned to the Sith. If you manage to defeat him then you will graduate to the full ranks of the Jedi...if not then your fate is up to him.
Karlo-I will not fail you master! This servant of the Sith is no match for a true Jedi!
Juon- *whispering* For your sake I hope that is true.
(The Sith arrives at the ancient steps along with an army of battle droids)
Sith- Kill all in your path, none survive.
Droids- Roger, Roger.
(As he approaches the Uneker warriors remain hidden)
(One jumps out and attempts to impale the Sith)
(But a droid guns it down even as another appears)
(The Sith cuts the warrior in half)
Sith- Die Savage! Really Master? Is this all you have to throw against me?
Karlo- No Sith scum! I've studied under Master Juon for years now and Once I defeat you I'll finally be a full Jedi!
Sith-*chuckling* Oh really? That sounds more like Sith teachings to me! A boy and alien Master! Well, if it's a fight you want then I won't hole back!
(The Sith attacks pushing Karlo back but Selkves charges at him)
(The Sith breaks away from Karlo and sends Selkves flying into the ravine and the river below wet but still living)
(Karlo attacks)
Karlo-You'll pay for that Sith! I know all about you, how you failed your trial and stormed away in shame!
Sith-And now you shall know the same pain!
(The Sith quickly breaks off and stabs Karlo's lightsaber destroying it)
Sith-Do you know why I failed? Because your master held me back! He withheld his power from me and forced me to duel him! But now I have even more power to him! But as for you...
(The Sith sends Karlo flying across the bridge)
(Karlo lands at his master's feet)
Karlo-I'm...sorry...master...I've failed.
Juon-But you failed with honor. I will deal with this...scum.
Sith-Two failed apprentices now Master? Perhaps it is you who has failed us!
Juon-No! It is your failing and yours alone! To leave during a trial, that is true failing and a disgrace to you! Now you will learn what true power is Hazar Lamus!
Hazar- So you do remember my name after all! Droids kill him!
(Juon launches himself into the air as the droids open fire)
(He slams down sending a shockwave through the ground and the droids flying)
Juon-This Hazar is true power! Power that the ghosts of Korriban could only dream of!
Hazar- No, my power is greater than yours! I have surpassed you!
Juon- And yet you still bare the scars I inflicted on you that very day you joined the Sith! Let us see your power then!
(The two launch themselves into the air and their blades meet before falling to the ground)
(They jump again their blades once more meeting before being pulled down)
Hazar-These scars no longer mark me as a failure! But now show my true strength! I've learned all your lessons and more! I will defeat you this time!
Juon-Really? You thing you know all my tricks? No, not even close!
(Juon activates a second blade and attacks)
Juon-You were right, I did hold back so you could win! But you were too bitter, too full of hate to realize you held yourself back! You could have been powerful but now you will pay the ultimate price for joining the Sith!
(Juon kicks Hazar back into the tree)
Juon-And now prepare for the fait that awaits all Sith!
Hazar-I think not!
(He pulls out a pistol and shoots Juon in the chest)
(Juon staggers back and Hazar fires again)
Hazar-For all your power you couldn't stop me! I am now more stronger than you ever could be and your death proves it!
(Juon falls to his knee)
Hazar- And now I hold you entirely in my power. Go on beg for mercy I may let you live!
Juon-You...will never have that satisfaction...you have no honor...treachery is the weapon of a cornered man it is better for me to die with honor than to live with deceit. But not before one last lesson...taught to me by the ghosts of Korriban themselves...the most powerful weapon...but only activated in death...
(Juon unleashes all his force energy in a massive blast sending Hazar flying as he breathes his last and disappears)
Karlo-Master, no!
Hazar-You live for two reasons. Tell the Jedi that death comes to all who oppose the Sith...and so that you may now know the pain I feel.
(Hazar walks away taking the force crystal as he leaves)
Hazar_*into his comlink* Master he is dead and I have the crystal. I will be returning soon.
Count Dooku- Excellent my apprentice! Soon the entire galaxy will be at my mercy! You have done well.
(*Following the Battle of Geonosis and the Events in the Prologue* Selkves leads Gulio, Alinta, and Boris to the site where the duel took place)
Selkves- Come quickly we may still have time!
(They approach Karlo)
Gulio: Apprentice where is Juon-Sai?
Karlo-Gone, a Sith named Hazar Lamus killed him and stole the crystal...He left me only to tell you that doom is coming for the Jedi...and to live with this pain...
Alinta-No...not Master Juon...
Boris-It is Okay padawan you did your best. Your master is in a better place now. We should return to Coruscant now Master Yoda will know what to do.
Selkves-I will come also as I pledge my allegiance to Master Sai so too will I the Jedi.
Boris-Wait...I sense something...Force sensitivity in you? Perhaps it is best that we take you along! Come let us go to the Temple we must discuss these matters further with the Council.
(They walk away leaving and travel to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant)

Great modeling, excellent figures, impressive force effects, nice story. Only thing is a couple typos here and there. Personally though I hate the mortis defined version of balance in the Force. I mean what the Sith follow that is the Dark Side isn't simply anger and hate but is taking ones own will and imposing it on the Force, twisting it. Instead its the logic and emotion that requires balance, which in balance is Light, the imbalance that the Sith serve is Dark. So to claim the Dark Side is an aspect of the Force to be balanced when its definition is perversion(or twisting) of the natural balance and flow of the Force is rather... not right. Anyway, that's not you, that's Star Wars, so I'll stop now. ;) Especially since the build and comic is amazing. |
