Hot Rod: Polizia-Rod (Revisited)
A 50% modification of my Polizia-Rod. Not going to show any front or interior pictures, so if you want to see them you'll have to check out the original page (link down the bottom). Enjoy! :)
About this creation
Built: Original in 2011, this version in 2012

Status: Intact

The tray can be removed in one piece.

Using this piece I can change the mounting position of the suspension, as can be seen above.

Some chassis photos. Notice le diff, suspension and exhaust system. The chassis is surprisingly strong.

Nothing to see here, move along...

Annddd now to finish the page off with my favourite shot.

Those of you who have not seen this car before, be sure to check it out here, and for everyone who has seen it before, I've updated the photos so you should probably go check it out too :P

And I guess while I'm doing all these links, you should probably check out
~The Rod Club~ for all your Rod craving desires.

Anywho, I hope you all like it. Feel free to give suggestions of different tray designs, accessories, etc. which you think will look cool. This is my first ute/pick-up (not counting my Gallardo Ute because that wasn't a proper MOC, just a mod of the official set, and also a VERY different kind of ute) so I'm unsure if I'm on the right track.

Ciao! :)

Nice truck version! Looks sexy still even with a flatbed. Hot-rod trucks(including flatbed ones) all ways look cool!

That's a cool Pick-Up, even better than the coupe. My favourite details are the rear suspension and the differential. Great job! :-))

I like it especially the roof line, rear suspension and differential section. I have used a similar technique on my latest. I saw nothing, but what I didnít see looked awesome. I await your next post with anticipation.

Great looking rod! IMO, this is better then the original version. I like all the detail that you've put into the diff/exhaust/etc, it looks great! I can't wait to see that yellow car posted. Excellent work mate

Quoting Ape Fight Nice. I prefer this to the original - it's more like a real rod. The suspension and diff look really good too. 5/5 - and is that the rear end of a Ford GT90 Concept? Trying to work out what it is...
Thanks Ape - I prefer this over the original too, it's a lot more fun to play with, and I'm happy with how the diff/exhaust/etc looks. That's the rear of one of my own concept cars, which I'll post sometime in the next week. So don't worry if you can't work out what it is :P
