After I built my second version of Mad Max's sawed off shotgun, I added the extended barrel and stock to make a better model of Ash's boomstick. But I've always wanted a 2 in 1 version. Here it is. Breaking the barrel off to make a shorter shotgun was easy. The trick was attaching a stock to the grip, have it connect securely, and maintain an acceptable appearance. The solution was so simple, I'm surprised it took me so long to come up with it. I have 2 sets of 1x2 plates with verticle stubs and forks holding them together. I had to modify just 2 pieces of the grip to add it. The barrels still break open like the real thing. I'm still trying to find a way to load shells into the barrels.
