Thanks for the compliment! Yes, I am studying architecture in college at the moment. As for starting a city, just make a few buildings at a time. Start with things such as a church, city hall, homes, offices, etc. Be sure to includes parks and a lake or river. When I first started I made each building as an individual MOC (like a modular system) so I could rearrange them until had enough to make a city. Any more questions just ask!

There is not one word good enough to complement this. It's so brilliant!Have you thought of studying architecture,if youre not in college already, cause u'd be a professional.I want to study that, and I'd say this city of yours,i mean every single time i see this,I get even more excited and interested into this theme.I would also like to tell u that your art work (Brickville) is a very inspiring creation to me, and I wanted to let you know how much I would love to build something like this so much, only smaller in base because of lack of baseplates.Anyways,I would like to try something out.I'm just suddenly into architecture(since that's what I want to study) that I want to make something based on it.So I must ask you for some tips on how to start if it's okay with you.If so,I would gladly appreciate it too.The whole city is wonderful,I mean how can something like this not be inspiring in anyone's opinion. This is pure art here!!! -BrickGear

Quoting finlay lego wow great city but what are all those coloured bricks below some of the buildings?
They are just the base which eventually will be built upon.

Personally, I think it's safe to say that in the past few months you've shifted Brickville's downtown area north where all those new, densely-placed skyscrapers are!
