My Group is Dalet and my category is Theme Mix-up: Mix two LEGO themes together! For example, a Star Wars Scene, but with Ninjas as the Jedi and Skeletons as the Clones.

About this creation

I chose to mix the themes of Ninjago and Pirates. A typical Ninjago set shows a couple of ninjas taking on a vicious skeleton punk vehicle. I exchanged the ninjas for pirates.

The wise Captain Woe leads his crew in pursuit of the evil skeletons. With the help of the elemental powers of seamen Cole, Jay, Zane and Kai as well as the pirate lass, Nya, Woe has driven the skull heads to the ocean shore. Instead of escaping in their Wavecruncher, the skullkins turn to fight.

Just then, the sea erupts as a mighty Skull sub emerges.

Will the crew win the day or will they succumb to the overpowering force of the Skulkins?

I am still working on my photography, but I think this entry is a major improvement on the last one. After a modest time deciding what to build, my brother suggested a Ninjago and Pirate mix. I decided to go through with it, even though I don't actually have any Ninjago sets. I am not all together enthusiastic with this build. I think it turned out ok, I just needed to get into a Skull punk mindset.
