The beholder is a dangerous oponent at the best of times. But when one surprises the party, you're pretty much (BLEEEEEEP)ed.
About this creation
First, Sir Prignacious, the party's paladin, was struck with the beholders petrification beam.



Argh the Barbarian only had time to shout out his eponymous battle cry before being disintegrated. Or was that a scream of pain?



Snorri Stonehead and Lanolin Leafwhisperer have always disliked one another. But under the influence of the Beholder's Charm beam, the dwarf at last lashed out at his erstwhile elfin comrade.



Finally, Sister Theanodira is doubly distressed: Caught right in the middle of the beasts Anti-Magic Cone, and about to be crushed by a levitated boulder.
