Redesign a LEGO set to make it more accurate or cooler.
About this creation
Round 2 of the MOC Speed contest! I made it to round 2 by default, so I figured it'd be better if I stepped it up a notch for the next round, especially considering I'm up against the likes of Ru Corder, Parrington Levens, and Bob the inconceivably invincible.
So for my entry, I decided to upgrade my Christmas present and the only set I actually have in one piece: the Medieval Market Village!
Since the set itself is extremely good, I decide not to change much, but rather to add things.
I added a larger river + stairs so that the top floor is actually accessible (also, my first attempt at flowing water)
I created an actual building for the market stand, complete with an upstairs.
Picnic (?) under the tree!

Laundry day!
A shot of the soldiers' convoy. I would have added some knights and maybe a horse or two, but it was cramped enough already.
Blacksmith and stable are pretty much the same (Why fix what isn't broken?)
Walkways and bridges.
An over view shot so you can get an idea of how it is all laid out.
