Shrink It: Take something huge, and make it in microscale. Looking for creative ways to capture the details of the large MOC and translate them into microscale. Can be one of your own MOCs microsized, an official LEGO set, or another person’s MOC
About this creation
Round 2 in the MOC Speed Contest, I got the category above.
So I was looking though the new 2012 Lego catalog looking for something to shrink and found the Kingdoms Joust set and decided to use that.

For referance, this is basically the photo I used when making this.

The castle. I wanted to use different parts to build those towers but realised that those pieces would look better that anything I made.

This 'set' comes with 9 Micro-Microfigs. From left to right: Falcon Knight, Lion Knight, Young Sqire, Queen, King, Nobleman, Princess, and Soldiers (x2).

Horseys!
I used 2 Lego® stickers to connect the 2 cheese slopes together, it probably would have looked better if I used tape (the Stickers aren't very adhesive) but wanted to make this purist for the judges. But they sure are cute! :)

Alright, that's it. Good luck to everyone else in the contest!
Joust!

Quoting Quad ?????
Don't you guys get it? It IS Purtist. I used LEGO stickers. ...Oh well. I think a 1x2 tile (or plate) would have made it not look like a horse head, I think that the 2 cheese slopes I have (In My Opinion) definately looks more horse-head-ish.
I do know that it is purist. I meant that you should put the plate and then add the 2 cheese slops on top of it. |

I like that you tried to keep it purist, but I think that adding a 1x2 plate would have worked just as well on the horses.

OK.... from the thumbnail, I thought this was the actual set! There are some sections which could be improved, but nothing drastic. I am awarding you 17 + 5 = 22. Thank you. |

Very nice work, the castle looks good. I like that you tried to keep it purist, but I think that adding a 1x2 plate would have worked just as well on the horses.

Very nice microscale work! It's not perfect, but it still looks great! You could've used 2x2 plates to connect the horses head with the body, though. |

Nice job! I would like to see you not use the tape though. :/
I didn't use tape. I used Lego Stickers, but said it probably would have looked better if I DID use tape. |

Impressive, you've captured all the aspects! You've definitely got me on speed, and possibly build. (Though that remains to be seen...)
