The Scarab needed a few more fighters in the pack. It was a fun little build so here you go, The Sistrum.

Hmmm, nice design, has a good vibe coming from it. And while I'm not huge fan of Photo Editor Effects, I prefer making effects from LEGO, the Effects don't take Focus off the Design and the Backgrounds do work well with the Vibe of the Ship. |

Really nice addition to your fleet Pete. Very refined, just the right amount of detail. I been neglecting Mocpages/Flickr recently, busy holiday and I'm scaling back Lego work a bit, I'll try to check out your other stuff soon. Peace.
Glad to here from you bud. I read on your page that you had another project other than lego. Any job offers or something? Just wondering bro not trying to pry, LOL. Well I hope it works out and hope to see you around still, Peace out... |

You've got you work set out for you, Chief! I was just thinking you don't want to diminish the imposing scale of the Scarab, seeing that the designs from a distance are sort of similar. Just as an example, when I built my smaller battlestar, I took photos of it next to the Galactica, then edited them together into orbit, as a reference. Once that scale is established for the viewer, then the rest of the pics don't matter so much. I'm imagining an upclose shot of this fighter's pilot with a Scarab wing right next to it, maybe? It's a tricky thing!
Ill have to try that bud, thanks for the pointer. That would make it easier for the viewer to get an exact scale of the two fighters. Yeah ill work on that. Later bud... |

The black & Red colors are just deadly!! Awesome design and shape. Plus the "glamour pics" are beautiful.
Thanks bud. I am working also on a graphic novel update if you care to look at it. Later... |

Very nice, I really like that set-back canopy, it looks very classy. The ship is a bit choppy where you try to raise it up and back in the main body, maybe try some tiles or greebles to fill the gaps and smooth out the odd angles.
I agreen Cody, LOL well my lego bricks are getting kinda limited though. I need to buy some more when money comes in. I haven't even taken any of my creations apart that I've done over the year. LOL well I well try alot harder on my next big project the Marquis. Later. |

Looks great, Dude! Mixing the two fighters together too much might cause some confusion, but I think you've dealt with that nicely. Wicked!
I totally agree with mixing them to much El Barto. Yeah Ill make sure I don't in the future battle in the Graphic Novel. Stay tuned for more bro... |

Very nicely done. A good light fighter for supporting the heavier fighters. I also posted a preview of my project. It illustrates the beam techniques, and a few others. Anyway, nicely done, I can't wait for the dogfighting. ^Blub^
Thanks Rabid glad you enjoyed it. It was a fun build. Ill have to take a look at your preview, thanks for that bro. |
