Where Does He Get All Those Wonderful Toys?
He knows a guy who knows a guy...and, you know, the whole 'billionaire' thing...
About this creation

Dark and gloomy, just the way he likes it.

A closer look at the Bat-computer and chair.

Some poor Photoshopping...

...

'Tell me, what chick wouldn't want to be seen with a billionaire crime-fighter that flies around in something this bad-ass?'

Fourth Dimension Commentary: This was going to be my last MOC of 2011, but kind of grew as I went along so now it's my first of 2012. Time now to tear it down (just the base) and focus my energy and bricks on collaborations for both Bricks By The Bay and BrickWorld. See you next time, same Bat-time, same Bat-channel!~H

I love batman, and you did something worth the legend! very cool batplane, clean, yet realistic and practical, as for the cave it s just right, the leds add to the realism tremendously, and looks pro, of course you ll have to add a little more if you want to do it whole as dave did, lol! awesome hans!

Wow Hans! This is one impressive MOC! I'm not big into Superheros, but my respect for Lego Batman just went up a notch or twenty! I really like the lighting in those first pics too! And Batman's chair is awesome!

Great build (very swooshable) and excellent part usage as ever. The technic panels make perfect wings. I also love how you have created the floor. The lighting and photography is also brilliant. I didn't know that classic Batman was a fan of Football - Kapow ;). Thanks for your comments on my latest :)

Simply batastic! I know that's a horrible pun but it's the best that pile of grey mush I woefully call a brain could spew out.

Very smooth! You're builds are outstanding! I haven't given myself a Batman set yet, but my daughter got one for Christmas. I'm gonna have to rectify that situation! :P Love the Batwing, and it just happens to be my favorite Bat vehicle of all time.

Whoa, two Batmen in different colors in one BatCave? Crazy. Great use of Bionicle parts in the ship as well, I wish more people used them in System creations like that.

The chair and the computer are amazing! As is the vig itself! I love how you've made it look very rocky, to aid the 'Bat Cave' feel, expertly done!

Quoting --R.K. Blast-- Wow! This is brilliant! I love the Bat-Computer and the BatWing design is amazing! Were you influenced by the one in the upcoming Dark Knight Rises at all because it looks quite similar? --Blast--
Not at all, I haven't even seen it yet. Someone else mentioned Arkham Asylum/City, but I've not seen that one either. The design grew from a VV I did last year ( http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/236040 )and wanting to use the Technic panels I got in a garage sale.~H

Quoting JS Can Fantastic job! It would have been great for the Eurobricks Bat-contest a while back. The Batwing is a little tough to make out because of lighting-all black. Is the football player PSed on the screen or is that a sticker?
It's a sticker. I made and used it in a MOC a couple of years ago and figured this was a good place to reuse it. Besides, I've been to a few Raiders games and seen him there, so I know he's a fan. LOL ~H

Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy Five comments so far and in two of them the brilliant chair is already mentioned. It's always a pleasure to explore your new MOCs - I adore your style, Hans. The mood shots are perfect. Are those LEDs around the Batwing?
Many thank yous, my friend! They are indeed LEDs, a strand of battery powered Christmas lights that fit nicely through an axle-hole. I built the platform around them so as to hide all the extra lights and power box. I should have taken a picture of the underside to show what I had to go through in order to hide it all but my patience was wearing thin and it's already been torn down. =) ~H
Quoting Otter 72 Awesome BatChair! Love the LEDs as well. Are you using Lego Power Functions lights? Just curious.
